An exposed grip and product-first silhouette turn carrying into part of the experience while reducing visual and material obstruction.
A packaging exploration built from the object outward—using structure, visibility and touch to create recognition before a logo ever enters the frame.

The assignment was not to decorate a box. It was to reconsider how the box could work: how it could protect the product, reveal it, invite interaction and hold its own at retail with minimal graphic intervention.
I led the creative direction, structural concept development, three-dimensional renderings, production-minded engineering presentation and recommendation strategy. The system began with form and customer behavior; graphics were intentionally secondary.
Multiple structural systems were developed to test shelf impact, consumer interaction, material use and manufacturability. Three concepts moved forward for prototyping because each answered a different retail need.

A protective frame creates strong shelf blocking and a premium window around the product without hiding it.
A sculptural cylindrical form makes the weights feel giftable, collectible and immediately recognizable from multiple angles.



Each concept was translated into dielines, material recommendations, retention systems and construction details. This phase tested whether the visual idea could survive manufacturing, handling and the realities of retail.
Instead of forcing one structure across every channel, the recommendation matched form to context: shadow box for off-price visibility, cylinder for premium gifting and open handle for high interaction.

Three concepts were prototyped and presented for client review. The work is recent and the final commercial decision is still pending; no production or sales outcome is claimed.
When form carries the idea, the brand can be recognized before it is read.
